Happy Birthday to you

Cha cha cha

Ella chose to have “cha cha chas” in her birthday song at school Friday afternoon.

And here she is with her cookie dough ice cream cake she wanted for her actual birthday on Saturday.

It’s hard to believe my baby is 7 and in first grade. She still likes school and math is favorite subject. She has been going to speech twice a week at school for a little bit of a lisp. We’re actually not super worried about it but the school offered it, we’d rather work on it now then have problems later on, and it gives her something else to work on at school.  She has told us that school is kind of boring sometimes because they keep doing the same thing. Ahh, welcome to the real world. πŸ™‚

Ella still likes to work on art projects at home and is getting into clothes and fashion. In fact for her birthday we took her shopping for a new outfit as her birthday present. Some off her clothing ocd seems to be resolving, she actually wore socks with “strings” in them this week.

Ella really loves to play with her baby sister Mia and is always saying “she’s so adorable”. It is more of a love/hate relationship playing with Abby  because Abby likes to copy her big sister. I’m did the fact that it annoys Ella does not factor into why she does it either. πŸ˜‰
